Fall-i-Days Finale Blog Hop

Well it is the last Blog Hop of 2012 for us.  I can't believe that the year has gone by so quickly.  I became a grandma for the first time this year and it is wonderful!  But this time I want to share with you my beautiful great-niece, she is also a cutie patootie so I have added her picture at the end.  Last Sunday was the marathon Christmas card making class at my house.  It was supposed to take three hours and took four and a half instead.  Here are three of the twelve cards we made that day.  These were all cased cards from my favorite Pintrest.  Thanks to their original designers, they were beautiful.

Next on to Stephanie Osgood's blog, you will enjoy her creations.  She is so talented at the Stampin' Up! MDS2 and designs our header and buttons for our hops for us.

And here is the picture of beautiful Charlie, isn't she so cute?

Fall-i-Days Christmas Blog Hop

It's that time again for my friends and I to hop.  I just got home from taking care of my parents for five days and sorry I haven't had much time to fix all the projects that I had planned, but come back later next week and I will have some more ideas to share with you.  You arrived from Buffy's Blog, isn't she amazing and she blogs every day!  I wish I could get my act together to blog once a week.  Once again I have pictures of Addison Grace, but they are at the end if you only want to see paper projects.  My first project I was inspired by Inking Idaho this week.  Becky is so talented and I had to make a snowman myself.
Candle Snowman
For the next two projects I was inspired by our Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, just loved the ornament on the front cover.  I am sure that you have seen tons of them out on the internet, but I love mine.  In fact I have class tonight to make them.

The next project is from page 20 and they are origami stars. I did a lot of research looking for a way that I really liked how the stars turned out and found that once again I liked Frenchie's instructions on her blog best.
Well it is time for you to move on to Diane's cute cards.

Here are the promised Addison Grace pictures to share with you, I will be seeing her finally at Thanksgiving:

Fall-i-Days Thanksgiving Blog Hop

It is time again for Stamping Llamas Thanksgiving Hop and I get to start the hop off this time.  I have been thinking about all of the things in my life that I am grateful for, one of them being my faithful blog followers.  I haven't been a very good blogger this year, I must admit that one of the reasons is, my family got an iPad for me for my birthday in December.  I spend way too much time on it and haven't been happy using it for my blog or emails.  But for "fun" stuff it is great, especially for Face Time, which I use every Sunday to see my granddaughter, Addison Grace, and if you want to see more pictures of her, go to the end of this post.

Both of my cards for this hop, I used my favorite technique, Baby Wipe Ink Pad.  I thought that it was perfect for fall colors.
Autumn Birthday
My brother-in-law's birthday is this month, and I don't know about you, but I am always challenged to make a man card.  I used the Autumn Days stamp set, which I finally purchased one month before it retired, I know, just my luck.  The main reason I purchased it was the cool wreaths made with the plant spikes, I had seen on the web.  Hope he likes this one.
Stamp Sets:  Autumn Days(Retired), Border Banter, Itty Bitty Banners
Paper:  More Mustard, Watercolor Paper, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP
Ink:  Cajun Craze, Ink Refills: Always artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, More Mustard and Riding Hood Red
Accessories:  7/8" Cotton Ribbon, Big Shot, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Baby Wipe

Gratitude

I loved this stamp set from the minute I saw it.  The medallion can be inked up so many different ways.  I will be sending this one to my mother since I will be visiting Addison instead of going home for Thanksgiving, kind of feel for her, since the great grands have shown up, my generation want to be with them for holidays, and Mom is feeling left out, change is hard, but they aren't able to travel anymore, so I am going for a visit this weekend.

Stamps:  Day of Gratitude
Paper:  More Mustard, Watercolor Paper, Regal Color Collection DSP Stack
Ink:  Cajun Craze, Stazon, Ink Refills: Always artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, More Mustard and Riding Hood Red
Accessories:  More Mustard Retired Ribbon

So, if you like, keep scrolling and you can see more pics of Addison Grace, or you can continue to Jackie's blog or start back at the beginning:

Addison & Koda
Addison had her first "professional" photography session during Hurricane Issac, you can see that it kept her awake, LOL.  Thanks for indulging a first time grandma.  I am grateful!

Fall-i-Days Halloween Hop

Images created by Stephanie Osgood
It's hop time again for the Stampin' Llamas.  I have been busy creating 3D projects for the next two months of classes.  Starting tomorrow I will be participating in the Murphysboro Apple Festival Craft Fair for two days.  I have been creating for two weeks and it is here too soon. LOL  At the end of this post is a picture of my first grandchild, Addison Grace who was born three weeks ago and she kindly waited for us to get there(11 hour car ride) before she made her appearance at 1:18am.  First up is a Halloween Treat Class:
Frankenstein Top Note and Mr. Acorn Treat Box
Treat Box open and waiting for Treats

Sunflower Tissue Paper Vase
Hello Doily Vase
One of my blogging friends inspired me with her tissue paper covered vases.  Check out her creations here: Sandi and check out her other creations while you are there, she is very talented.  Can you believe that this was made with stamped tissue paper?

Wonderfall Door Hanger
My next project was inspired by Jael, a German demonstrator.  I fell in love with this fall door hanging and could not wait to make one.

Natural Composition Purse and Card Set

This project was inspired by Frenchie she is so generous with her talent.  This little purse holds four cards and their envelopes.

And now for the promised pictures of my very special Addison, enjoy.

Three days old, look at that hair!

Two weeks old-her first professional picture.
Well, I am the end of the line for this hop, here are some links so that you can keep hopping.  Have a great weekend and come back and see us for the next hop.

Fall-i-days Llama Blog Hop

Welcome Fall!  It is the start of a new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog, and, of course, another llama hop. Starting August 9th, the Stampin' Llamas will be hopping again.  This time we will be showcasing the many wonderful products from the 2012 Holiday Catalog.

I don't know about your area of the country, but in Southern Illinois, with little rain the last two months, and our grass is dead and the leaves are starting to drop, so it looks like Fall already.  But on my butterfly bushes, the butterflies are still thick, so on the web I have seen many different butterfly pictures.  I finally decided to make myself one with our new Elegant Butterfly Punch:
Elegant Butterflies

At our last technique class, we used the Embossed Kisses Technique using the new Holiday Frame Embossing Folder found on page 7 of the Holiday Catalog.  My first Christmas Card in shades of Pink...I think I like it.
Holiday Frame Embossed Kisses

Stamp Set:  Daydream Medallions, More Merry Messages, Take it to Heart(Retired)
Paper:  Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla Card Stock, Fan Fair DSP
Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Raspberry Ripple
Accessories:  Big Shot, Holiday Frame Embossing Folder, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack

My very favorite stamp set in the new Holiday Catalog is the Affection Collection.  It can be used for so much more than Valentines Day.  Here I used it for a Thank You card for my daughter and her husband for hosting me for a week.

Lacy Affection Thank You
For the background I used the new Core'dinations Card Stock with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  The new card stock has monochromatic color layer that can be revealed by sanding with our new Stampin' Sanding Block.  You can see all of the colors on page 6 of the new Holiday Catalog.  Don't you just love the Tulle belly band?  It is also in the Holiday Mini on page 4.  It is so soft and easy to work with.

Stamp Set:  Affection Collection, Curly Cute
Paper:  Naturals White, Whisper white, Core'dinations Card Stock Cherry Cobbler
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler
Accessories:  Big Shot, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Modern Label Punch, Window Frames Collection Framelits, Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Stampin' Sanding Block, 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by now on to the next stop, Linda, you'll love her creative Christmas cards.  A special thank you to Stephanie who designed our banner and buttons, they are so special.
