Fall-i-Days Christmas Blog Hop

It's that time again for my friends and I to hop.  I just got home from taking care of my parents for five days and sorry I haven't had much time to fix all the projects that I had planned, but come back later next week and I will have some more ideas to share with you.  You arrived from Buffy's Blog, isn't she amazing and she blogs every day!  I wish I could get my act together to blog once a week.  Once again I have pictures of Addison Grace, but they are at the end if you only want to see paper projects.  My first project I was inspired by Inking Idaho this week.  Becky is so talented and I had to make a snowman myself.
Candle Snowman
For the next two projects I was inspired by our Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, just loved the ornament on the front cover.  I am sure that you have seen tons of them out on the internet, but I love mine.  In fact I have class tonight to make them.

The next project is from page 20 and they are origami stars. I did a lot of research looking for a way that I really liked how the stars turned out and found that once again I liked Frenchie's instructions on her blog best.
Well it is time for you to move on to Diane's cute cards.

Here are the promised Addison Grace pictures to share with you, I will be seeing her finally at Thanksgiving:

Fall-i-Days Halloween Hop

Images created by Stephanie Osgood
It's hop time again for the Stampin' Llamas.  I have been busy creating 3D projects for the next two months of classes.  Starting tomorrow I will be participating in the Murphysboro Apple Festival Craft Fair for two days.  I have been creating for two weeks and it is here too soon. LOL  At the end of this post is a picture of my first grandchild, Addison Grace who was born three weeks ago and she kindly waited for us to get there(11 hour car ride) before she made her appearance at 1:18am.  First up is a Halloween Treat Class:
Frankenstein Top Note and Mr. Acorn Treat Box

Sunflower Tissue Paper Vase
Hello Doily Vase
One of my blogging friends inspired me with her tissue paper covered vases.  Check out her creations here: Sandi and check out her other creations while you are there, she is very talented.  Can you believe that this was made with stamped tissue paper?

Wonderfall Door Hanger
My next project was inspired by Jael, a German demonstrator.  I fell in love with this fall door hanging and could not wait to make one.

Natural Composition Purse and Card Set

This project was inspired by Frenchie she is so generous with her talent.  This little purse holds four cards and their envelopes.

And now for the promised pictures of my very special Addison, enjoy.

Three days old, look at that hair!

Two weeks old-her first professional picture.
Well, I am the end of the line for this hop, here are some links so that you can keep hopping.  Have a great weekend and come back and see us for the next hop.

Fall-i-days Llama Blog Hop

Welcome Fall!  It is the start of a new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog, and, of course, another llama hop. Starting August 9th, the Stampin' Llamas will be hopping again.  This time we will be showcasing the many wonderful products from the 2012 Holiday Catalog.

I don't know about your area of the country, but in Southern Illinois, with little rain the last two months, and our grass is dead and the leaves are starting to drop, so it looks like Fall already.  But on my butterfly bushes, the butterflies are still thick, so on the web I have seen many different butterfly pictures.  I finally decided to make myself one with our new Elegant Butterfly Punch:
Elegant Butterflies

At our last technique class, we used the Embossed Kisses Technique using the new Holiday Frame Embossing Folder found on page 7 of the Holiday Catalog.  My first Christmas Card in shades of Pink...I think I like it.
Holiday Frame Embossed Kisses

Stamp Set:  Daydream Medallions, More Merry Messages, Take it to Heart(Retired)
Paper:  Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla Card Stock, Fan Fair DSP
Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Raspberry Ripple
Accessories:  Big Shot, Holiday Frame Embossing Folder, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack

My very favorite stamp set in the new Holiday Catalog is the Affection Collection.  It can be used for so much more than Valentines Day.  Here I used it for a Thank You card for my daughter and her husband for hosting me for a week.

Lacy Affection Thank You
For the background I used the new Core'dinations Card Stock with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  The new card stock has monochromatic color layer that can be revealed by sanding with our new Stampin' Sanding Block.  You can see all of the colors on page 6 of the new Holiday Catalog.  Don't you just love the Tulle belly band?  It is also in the Holiday Mini on page 4.  It is so soft and easy to work with.

Stamp Set:  Affection Collection, Curly Cute
Paper:  Naturals White, Whisper white, Core'dinations Card Stock Cherry Cobbler
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler
Accessories:  Big Shot, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Modern Label Punch, Window Frames Collection Framelits, Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Stampin' Sanding Block, 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by now on to the next stop, Linda, you'll love her creative Christmas cards.  A special thank you to Stephanie who designed our banner and buttons, they are so special.

Stampin' Llamas Summer Blog Hop

Welcome June!  What a wonderful month.  Summer begins, the start of a new Stampin' Up! catalog year, and, of course, another llama hop. Starting June 14, the Stampin' Llamas will be hopping again.  This time we will be showcasing the many wonderful products from the 2012-2013 Catalog.  Check back then to get hopping with us.

The first stamp set that I purchased from the new catalog was Papaya Collage.  Collage is one of my favorite things to do.  The first two cards use this unique new set.
Papaya Anniversary
This card was inspired by a fellow demonstrator, PENNY HANUSZAK and you can see here card here.
Stamp Set:  Memorable Moments, Papaya Collage
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Basic Grey
Ink:  Stazon
Accessories:  Daffodil Delight 1/2" Seam Binding, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Big Shot, Square Lattice Folder, Permanent Black pen, Framed Tulip Folder

Papaya Collage ATC Card
This card was inspired by Jackie Topa and her ATC card.  I just love the collage effect on this one.
Stamp Set:  Papaya Collage, Loving Thoughts
Paper:  Comfort Cafe DSP, Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse
Ink:  Midnight Muse, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede Marker

Travel Clipboard
Last week we had a clipboard class using DSP and making our attachments from stamp sets.  The above clipboard was so easy to make because all of the paper and attachments except the word "Travel" came from the new DSP set "Fan Fair".  It is soooo cool, there are two pages of empheria that you can add to cards, collage or scrapbook pages.  I stamped the "Travel" using the new Morning Post Alphabet Stamp Set and punching it out with the Postage Stamp Punch.  I just am so excited about the Fan Fair Suite which starts on page 106 of the new catalog.  This was a really fun class and I will be posting soon some more collage projects that I am dreaming up.  Below are some more of the Clipboards that I made using retired DSP and new stamp sets.

It is time to continue on your journey through our hop and check out Steph's great projects:

Do the Llama Hop!

I am so honored to be with a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who love Stampin' Up! as much as I do.  We enjoyed each others sense of humor so much that we formed our own group the Watercooler Llamas.  Please join us for our first hop, "Do the Llama Hop!".  See the link below of our blog for a list of all the participating talented ladies and join us for our first hop.
Spice Cake Lollie Wreath
Lollie wreaths have been popping up all over the internet and when Stampin' Up! brought out the Holiday Mini Catalog showing one on page 6, I had to make one for one of our classes.  After seeing so many made with Spice Cake DSP, I decided to make one also.  Don't you just love the fall colors in this paper?  Using our Simply Scored scoring tool made these lollies a breeze to make.  Using low-temp glue gun helped a lot also(I blistered two finger tips before turning it from high to low. LOL)

Don't you just love the script on the banner?  That is our new Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set, also in the new Holiday Mini Catalog.  Don't have a copy, check out the down-loadable copy on the right bar of my blog.
